  • Site Down..

On Thursday, we lost the server.. We just got it restored from a back up.. hopefully with the new server, we won't have this happen again for a while.

Good to see the site up and running again. I was afraid you'd ran out on us, DJ.

The server it self had a drive go away.. they swapped what they could over to the new server and I had to reup all the files from my system.. luckily the forum folder was still intact.

Good thing you archive and back up all this stuff.

            Remember when FF.com was hacked?

although it sucks that it was down, I'm glad it was due to a mundane reason rather than some insidious machination

                      DJ,

Glad to hear what the real problem was. There were a couple of rumors floating around on the Festiva Fanatics mailing list about sabotage & retribution..... obviously hadn't hear about the guy breaking into your car!

Thanks again for your continuing contribution to the Festiva/Aspire community.

Now that I think about it, I probably visited this site 10-15 times while it was down. Its weird how much I would routinely come here.

                        12:30 p.m. -Wake up
                        12:35 p.m. -Wake computer up
                        12:36 p.m. -Check email
12:40 p.m. -Go to ff.com and its not there, freak out type it again
12:40 p.m. -Realize you typed it right and it's still not there start to worry that you were IP banned for something you don't remember doing.
12:41 p.m. -Get paranoid and think some one might have edited your post
12:45 p.m. -Contemplate going to dads house and trying from there
12:46 p.m. -Realize you have to go to work and you don't have time to worry.

Take it back to the back porch, join the 3 string revolution.
