  • FF.com Down

Sorry about the site being unavailable there for a little bit. Seems like it was an issue with the Index page. I've changed it to simply load the main index page (where all the forums show) isntead of the CMPS until I have time to research and resolve the SQL issue.

    Thanks.

Apparently, according to the VB forum, they are telling me the error says that we're out of space. Eek!

Yeah, PM's still seem to be off line.

Time to free up some space and dump some of those members that have only 1 post and havent logged on in 4 or more years!

Actually I think you could go through and just purge by how long it has been since a person has logged on, nevermind post count.
Now there will be some that may say that seems unfair. But how fair is it to pay for space being taken up by unused accounts. Ive been on plenty of sites that periodically purge their system of dead weight.

Unfortunately that would also erase some of the knowledge the added to the site that makes it what it is today. IS it time to do a donation drive again?

Purging accounts will not lose the knowledge base and old threads in the 4 sale section will not hurt anything.

Just not sure it will help.

whatever you have to do so we can read PM's again. I have one and it is killing me to not be able to read it.

if you have your account set to get a pop up when you receive a PM.....you can still read it that way and respond.
