  • FordFestiva.com Online for iPhone, Droid, etc.

We recently added a new plugin to the site that provides greater functionality to members browsing from their smart phones. The addition is a plugin called "TapaTalk", which has free software for the iPhone, various Android phones, and even BlackBerries. You get a much nicer view of the forums, easier access to PMs, favorites menus, etc.

Members that visit the site via their mobile phones may see a new popup that says "This forum is accessible via TapaTalk, click here for more info"...

Anyone that starts browing via the application, please let us know your feedback. I've seen this used on several other forums I'm on and it's a big help vs. browsing the standard forum.

(Please note - you can still browse to the forum normally! You do not need to download TapaTalk to see the forum online... But it does make it nicer.)

    Enjoy!

It's steamlined for the phone... Instead of being a full screen that is squished down to the resolution of a phone screen.

It'll make it easier to post and reply, PM, etc. For me, it just seems to make overall navigation of the site a lot easier.

I bought the paid version for my Droid... It was like $3 total and I use it for a couple different forums. Their "favorite" feature is nice, that I can bookmark my favorite subforums on different sites and access them all quickly and easily.

This won't be for everyone... And nobody is being forced to use it! But the option is out there incase anyone does (like me. )

I paid for it and love it... You can do the same stuff from your browser on the phone, but it's easier.
