    Hey there all,

I understand not everyone has perfect internet, but for those of us interested with broadband/cable, this is a great way to read forums.

    For example:

    Rather than reading like this:
Show your racing trophies, 1/4 mile time slips and discuss other sanctioned racing sessions (includes auto-x, drag racing, 1/8 mile slips, etc)

A typical four page thread around these parts. 40~ odd posts and a handful of clicks/tabs.

I would far rather read it like this:
Show your racing trophies, 1/4 mile time slips and discuss other sanctioned racing sessions (includes auto-x, drag racing, 1/8 mile slips, etc)

All consolidated into one by just adding &pp=XX. Easy scroll start to finish.

Just a quick question... is there any way to default page consolidation so I don't have to enter it every time?

I think there was a thread or even a few posts within a thread that talked about this. I think an admin chimed in and told of why it can't or won't be done, fairly recently I think.

I do like the idea with one exception. When I come back to the forums after a day or so I hit the "new posts" button at the top of the page. In threads I follow or sometimes even remember, I know I last visited page 3 for example. Therefore I do not have to scroll down all the way through 1 and 2 or even the first 18 posts or more (if using this method) if on a more popular topic. But in defense of the above if I had control to set it the way I liked it it would also be nice.

If you have firefox download Autopager. It does the same thing except you still have the choice of jumping pages. You will never want to go back to the old way.

Old trick. I've been doing that for years.

BTW, you can do up to 200 posts per page.

FWIW I have mine set for 30 posts per page, been that way for a couple years now

            1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
            1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

I've changed the options allowing up to 1,000 posts per page now. You can change this by going to User CP --> Edit Options --> And under Thread Display Options, change Number of Posts to Show Per Page from whatever it is now........ to, anything UP to 1000...

                Enjoy.

Yes, but it's a good link for those who change their setting to 1000 posts per page, to test out the new setting

That one was easy - all text. Took my internet forever to get your build thread going with all of the pictures... but as long as I don't delete my history/browsing documents in the immediate future, I have it on demand!
