I have had problems with guests taking up bandwidth, as well as seeing some of our posts copied and posted to other boards for amusement.. This may not stop anything but the bandwidth problem, but I'm damn tired of logging on to see 20 Guests with the same IP taking up our members bandwidth..

i agree with 5.0zone on the location being mandatory. i ask that question awhile back in general discuisson, when i first join . i think it would improve the site, as its is helps when you are trying to sell or buy something. a little imput from a newbie

I haven't looked into it to see if it's doable. But I know a few forums that require it, and they get stupid remark or vague locations anyways, so it really doesn't help. Besides, there are still a lot of people that don't want to show the world where they're at. I can respect that. But it definitely should be required when selling something around here.Comment

How about just lock topics like Gen discussion and Off topic and others that aren't helpful for someone who really wants info to fix their little car? I know We've had a few join because of the help our forums gave them when they needed repair help.Comment
