    Stereo Mess

    Ok.. just got a cd player for the Festy...

    Everything is hooked up.. minus the illumination wire (which I need to find one to tap into if anyone knows the color combo for the dash lights wire)...

    When the car has power, the cd player will accept and eject a cd but no it won't play any music from a cd... what am I missing?

    Does the radio work? If so, you may have a bad player. Have you tried several CD's. Are you using a boughten CD, or one you burned?

        if you have an aftermarket amp, try using the blue/white wire on the stereo as the amp turn-on.
