I have seen tissue paper with clear nail polish used a repair before. Don't know how long it would last though.Comment

that kind of repair can't be used on the surround (outer most edge of speaker that flexes)Trees aren't kind to me...

For the paper , I have always heard the nail polish trick works , just not sure how long, but never seen one fail after the repair .------------------------------------------------

i have another set of speakers, but all the way over there id be cheaper to buy on the internet, its like 17 for 2
i replaceed all of mine in under an hour ,real easy sounds alot betterComment

you can get 'em at wal mart for like 7 bucks each. they're cheap, but they work. and they are better than the stock ones.89 L, hopefully returning from the dead soon with a little more power... :twisted:
