Alarms are very easy to install. I have installed literally 300-350 alarm/remote car starter systems at my last job. The easiest way to find wire colors if you don't already know them is to go to an uathorized install place and ask to see if they can give you a wire color sheet for the car.

I will do the best I can to answer any questions you may have.

ive just put an alarm and central locking in my festy
its the later shape aspire in 5 door but its easy in any car
the front doors actually had mounts already for central locking solenoids
i wish id taken some pics now
there easy as to install tho
the rods just connect to the ones to the normal door locks
The alarm was abit trickier cos i had to find alot of wires like left and right turn signals cos the alarm flashes them when arming/disarming, constant power i got from the dome light/radio backup, and i found ignition from a spare spot in the fuse box and i had to pick up the door and hatch switches for the dome light
the alarm i got also has an immobilisor circuit but i couldnt be buggered hooking that up as well

took about 4 hours to do all up
but its so great to just walk up press a button and jump straight in

I will be at my old job tomorrow. I will pull a tech sheet for the Festiva. I have done them before and they are super simple. They took me about a hour and a half to do with remote start and alarm. Locks usually add about an hour or so. The main power, ignition, starter, and accessory wires are in the ignition harness. The door wire is in the driver kick and so on. I will have the colors/locations posted here about this same time tomorrow.

I did a couple years back. I am going to put them in mine after the body work is done.

Guys, I will be at the shop tomorrow to get the wire sheets. Sorry for the delay.
