Carputer!

I'm 90% done with my build, the os's are installed (dual-booting! )

Now i'm looking at the diagram that came with my m1-atx intelligent car psu, and there 3 important wires. red +, black -, both need to go straight to the battery, the psu is fused. And white (ignition) I presume this goes to the ignition barrel, to the ignition wire.

Anyone know if there's an easyier place to splice this wire in from? Or has a suggestion where I could plumb this in that doesn't involve me ripping the wire harness at the barrel?

the white wire is not "ignition" per say, its just a signal wire much like the remote wire for an amp, just tap into something that has power when the key is on. post some pics, i want to see. DJ's was awesome, thats where i got the idea for a carputer, just too broke to buy one.
