  • Custom audio basics?

Can anyone recommend any books, websites etc that would give me the basics of custom audio. I'm looking for ideas for speaker placement, enclosures, wiring, terminology, all that kind of stuff.

    Thanks

One basic is that any radio you purchase must have HD(digital) radio. As my classical music station says, HD is the best FM advance since stereo. HD radio is near CD quality, except the bit of background hiss is slightly more than a CD puts out. Clarity is stunning. While listening to the radio station's recording of a live performance during the quiet oboe adagio, some one sneezed in the audience...& got spray all over me. Lots of stations play HD now, & prices are tumbling downward. Get HD radio.
