  • Eaby Item number:120223185180 will this work in a '90Festy?

    Hello,
I hope this is posted in the right area. Apologize if not. I am looking for an original equipment radio for my 1990 Festiva.

Would anyone know if this radio, available on ebay would work ?

Its not labled as for a Festiva but states for that model year...appreciate any insight somone might have. Thanks for looking.

    Please see ebay link below.

I don't think it will. Festivas had different radio harnesses than the rest of Ford so you can't use their radios even though they look the same from the front. Festiva radios used a Mazda harness. This radio did not come from a festiva because it has the holes in the sides for inputting the Ford removal tools. Festiva radios were screwed into place and did not have those holes.

My dad had a Mazda CD player that plugged in and worked with the stock Festiva harness... Not sure what car it came out of though...

                Hi Geezer,
How much for the radio ? Is paypal an option ? With the back light out can you still see what station your tuned to ?

That looks like it will only fit in a ford truck
