    More wiring, more pics.

Also included are some that show off the "floor" I built. Mainly to bolt the battery strap, also to acomodate the full size mag / spare.

    and

Safety first! Ok, ok, ok, it's mostly for show.

Now my battery #2 is strapped in.

And the wiring is headed for the battery isolator up front. Probably going to try wiring that in on the long weekend.

I have heard its not good to mount the amp on the box for the sub due to vibration. Does anybody have any information on that? That is how I wanted to mount my amp.

I don't crank it often though, if ever. Mostly it's there for that little amount of bass needed.

i've heard that as well but i've had my amp mounted on sub-box for as long as i've had a stereo and to this day no problems

            maybe it's just an urban-ledgend?

Well I'm stumped. I re-wired everything that was going up front to go to the back, I've wired the big power cable to the battery isolator, but the more I look at that diagram, the less it makes sense. I also inspected the alternator. I have a white cable (alone) and a red and black, (together) The haynes is pretty vague about what they are, the isolator docs say that these wires should be a different color. I'm at a loathe to just go cuttin'... I wish DJ was still around, he had a very similar setup.
