i just hooked up my sirius yesterday, and i have to say its pretty impressive. no commercials, crystal clear, and the most important thing for me is to be able to hear talk radio at 4:30 am. even though they are re runs from the day before.

We've had sirius for over a year now.... Got it for one car... then had to get it for the other car since we both love listening to it.

Its great because where we live, there isnt any stations that play much of the music we like.

not on all the stations....there are music stations that are totally commercial free.
They put the commercials on the talk stations to make more money..lol

I'm a huge fan of my sirius, I haven't even listened to regular radio since hooking it up. I love Howard Stern and I'm getting the portable stiletto soon. It's probably the best invention for this decade. I drove for 6 hours straight and never had a problem with it. If you're too cheap to pay the $10 a month, get a friend to get it with you and then you only pay $6 and even then, its completely worth it.

There is nothing wrong with that, but I always suggest just trying it out. If you buy a $30 subscription card, they give you the unit for free. You can at least try it for 4 months and see what happens. It'll change the way you listen to radio. Sirius, the best radio on radio, lol.

I would be drummed out of the house if our cars didn't have them in it. I've had 3 of each services in our cars now for several years. Only thing that worrys me is that now ther has been the merger, how the packages etc. are going to work. One thing I like better about XM is that I am still using the same Delphi units I started with. Wish I could say that for the Sirius equipment. BTW, if you pay way ahead, for example I buy 1 year for Sirius and 3 year plans for XM, you get a much better deal on your subscriptions.
