i just got a jvc sk124 and wired it up. i got every thing wired and turned it on and all it did was try to eject something and shut off. thats all it will do. do u think its wired up wrong or is it a bad stereo??

Id double check you hot wires make sure youve got them correct. 1 will be constant power to hold memory and time when car is off and the other is actual power when the key is turned on. double chack and make sure your grounds are good as well.

i just got it working. i had to run the memory and the power main on the same wire, the constant source. it works but my memory still doesn't work. do u know y??Later!Comment

Constant (Yellow wire typically) should be connected to something that is always live, Switched (red wire Typically) gets connected to something that gets switched on when the key is turned on.
