Tweeter locations

Hello all,

I pulled some tweeters from a late model Taurus that were mounted on the doors right by the mirrors.

I'm currently running with 5 1/4" (I think) in the doors and 6x9 three ways on a custom rear deck. What is the best and/or most practical place to mount the tweeters? A couple of people have mentioned the stock front speaker location. One spot I thought of would be to mount them in the corners of the dash facing straight up toward the windshield.

i plan on puttin mine in the stock front speaker holes cause im mountin door speakers and 6x9's in the rear. u can put them where ever u want really, but just hook them up to the stereo first and then play with them, find where the best sound quality comes from, itll make it much nicer if u find that sweet spot

Maybe on the inside panel of the mirrior where they were in the taurus....if it'll fit. Im lookin to do that anyways!
