Multiple Batteries

So i just got a good deal on a couple of 17" LCD monitors, as well as i still have all of my other audio goodies in my car, and i am looking at running 2 or 3 more optima red tops in the car.. can anyone help me as far as hooking up the batteries and such so that i am not blowing up the car.. haha.. oh and another q... i found the post about the battery isolator... what does that do.. and should i put one on,., or better yet.. do i need one?
