Generally speaking, this wire goes to a 12 volt source that is always on. -

is the black wire on the radio end or the car end? more often than not and according to the haynes manual wiring diagram i just checked, the black wire is the ground wire for the radio. im not real sure about one with a red stripe on it but according to the wiring diagram im looking at it there is a red wire with a black stripe that is for the interior lightingComment
