And I wasnt trying to make you look stupid. Once again I was showing you the power of searching. It took me less than 5 minutes to get those results.
BTW theres nothing special about those speakers, other than he has them reverse mounted. As deep as they appear in the pictures. They probably wouldnt mount from behind like the factory speakers without knocking the dash brackets around. The only problem I see with them is that there may be a problem with hitting them as people get in and out. I dont know maybe Im wrong, it wouldnt be the first time.
no way monsoon ..... No bother at all to sit or stand up, and I say that I am a little rough with things .... and the horns fit perfectly into its compartment ... just wanted to install them that way

What does the reverse mounting do for the sound?

Other than looks, not much. You dont get much if any bass out of the fronts anyways because theyre not boxed in. But I would think the highs would be even more muffled because the tweeter is firing towards the firewall.

High-frequency sounds are a bit annoying for me ... but I must say the sound from the tweeter, is not heard overshadowed (the four horns have tweeter and yes, turn the horns meets just a visual function)'m hoping the tray back in order to install the triaxial

I see what Monsoon is saying. Tweeters are a directional speaker, meaning they sound best at what they are directly pointing at. So, to turn them towards the firewall, defeats the purpose of a tweeter, which are the highs, but sipderdoc wanted to eliminate the highs. Since they aren't used for highs, and they definately aren't used for lows, then I see why Monsoon says they would be muffled. So, I guess I don't see why you would even want them. Seems to me that there are more negatives to doing that than positives......but I'm not a stereo guy, I'm a Supermodel!

the base frequency is non-directionional and will resinate in all directions. A box focuses the sound in one direction. So they are still functional but not as well as a boxed sub. They will play mid-range well though.
