Other than looks, not much. You dont get much if any bass out of the fronts anyways because theyre not boxed in. But I would think the highs would be even more muffled because the tweeter is firing towards the firewall.Search Master - Honorary Member of Midwest Festiva Inc., Gulf Coast Chapter

my first decent stereo were 2 12" MTX's (Thunder 6000 series) and i was very impressed with them, i still have them too hiding in a closet

1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I see what Monsoon is saying. Tweeters are a directional speaker, meaning they sound best at what they are directly pointing at. So, to turn them towards the firewall, defeats the purpose of a tweeter, which are the highs, but sipderdoc wanted to eliminate the highs. Since they aren't used for highs, and they definately aren't used for lows, then I see why Monsoon says they would be muffled. So, I guess I don't see why you would even want them. Seems to me that there are more negatives to doing that than positives......but I'm not a stereo guy, I'm a Supermodel!ENFORCER - Midwest Festiva Inc., Iowa
