stupid question but need to know

on the back of a cd player or just any radio there is a screw that a wire is bolted on... does that take in electricity or is it a ground...???

ground, but usually a mounting strap bolts onto it

when its ground does it go back to the ( - ) part of the battery or is it bolted to the body??
im kinda looking to set up a whole car sterio system in my room pionieer head unit and 2, 10inch dual subs, a 460 watt amp i have a car battiery sitting next to all this :twisted: i want to boom my parents out of the house
