your stock pcm doesn't have the capability of broadcasting that info, so no, there's nothing out there to do what you're asking. However, changing to a pcm (aftermarket) with datalogging capabilities will give you what you want. Check www.MegaSquirt.info

their forum says someone has hooked one up to a festiva.
if anyone here does use this chip/box. please let me know if it is worth the $$ and time to put together and use. I've got an old laptop I'm itching to do this with.

While waiting for my refill on some RX at the local Walgreen's, I was looking at one of the may tuner mags that they have out on the shelves, and there was a couple of stand alone engine management systems that use a laptop for real time diagnosis and tuning. Just thought I would share that with you.

Can the protege be hooked up to a computer for monitoring with the right software? Im installing the ecu and harness, and it has a diagnostics port, just curious
There are many companies that can modify your stock PCM for many different abilities. Hondata's package for the Honda P28 obd1 ecu Is almost limitless. The abilities achieved by the Hondata equipped car is only rivaled by stand alone pieces like AEM's EMS. This shows that you can modify your stock PCM to work with a laptop interface, datalog, nitrous control, editing of fuel and timing tables and deal with boost. There is more you can do too. There are many different tuning companies out there. Corksport can socket and chip your PCM. Not sure if they have anything in the way of fuel/timing tables for the festiva though. I am sure they could point you in the right direction for having this sort of mod done to your ECU. The best part of just modding your PCM is the fact that you don't have to cut or remove ANY wiring or worry about tuning in or building Fuel and timing tables to make the engine run.
Fast, fun and good gas mileage. 91' Festiva(RIP) and 96' Aspire(RIP). The website is no more.
