subwoofer size question

I am good at designing and building from wood, well really good. But I don't have alot of knowledge when it comes to subwoofer size and enclosure space.

Does anyone know if the space behind the seat where the normally people feet sit for the back seat, if there is enough room across the back there for 2 10" woofers to get enough air.

The back is cleared out in my car, and I want to build a box with 2 10"s that will sit flush with the floor in the back, and goes up close to the back of the fron seats... Anyone understand that.

I just want to make sure that if I build this box there will be enough volume to no restricted the woofer.

different subs need different amounts of space.... what kind of sub are you using? (different brands are different, and some subs are ment for boxes others need more room to breath) check how much volume the manufac. says you need, take some measurements and do some simple math and see if you have enough room.

there is enough room for any 2 10"subs in there....if more space than normal is required just go up with the box. you do need to figure out the recomended airspace and if it should be a ported or sealed box...the wrong box can make the best subs sound like roadmasters

when building the box, make sure that you add the displacement of the subwoofer to the manufactures recommendations.

working on a new design for 2 12' pioneer subs that take only .8 cu ft of air space. If i do this correctly, you can fit 4, 12" in the back hatch and bring the floor up to the top of the bottom of the hatch lid, clean install and most stealth!
