  • More Amps...45 will not feed the SOUNDS!

Just became the proud owner of my second Festiva....$200 car with $2000 worth of stereo equipment. Exclusively Kicker Components (except the head unit...Pioneer until I get a Soundgate). Looking for a reliable High Output Alternator to run a Competition system. Present set-up hit at 145.7 with a single 12" Solo X driven by a KX1200.1. Looking to double what I have....System is supported by a 1000 CCA Battery under the hood, an A Shuriken 2250 amp power cell... linked with Kicker 0 guage. Need more mids and tweets....Carbon Fiber headliner filled with Kicker Components on the way. Long project...but needless to say, I'm gonna need more HORSEPOWER.....SO HOOK ME UP WITH SOME LINKS GUYS AND GALS! yupitsahemi@yahoo.com....thanks

That setup is sweet. Did you have to completely remove the back seat for that? If so, how hard is that to do? Is there a delete kit, or just a bare spot where the seats were?
The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!

Mazda Protege alternator. Easy to find, 70 amps (I think) and dirt cheap.
Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

I had to completely take out the back seats and the little hooks that the backrests hook into

Can we assume your system has some aux. humongazoid capacitors to help supply voltage/current to the amps? Farads, baby!

Focustiva: Because I was told it was was impossible to fit a Focus bumper on a Festiva.

^^ Good advice for thumpz, in case there's no such component(s) in that setup.
