    If nothing else at least use butt connectors and then electrical tape to fix it. Sheesh why do people insist on half a***** something rather than fix it correctly.

      butt connecters sounds better then wire nuts now that i think of it. look better and will keep the wires running straight.

        Its not the perfect fix. But its alot better than just electrical tape.

          electrical tape still works. thats better than just either leaving it melted together or just wiring it back together and not taping it. like i said i know that tape is just fine of a fix as anything. its wired together nice and twisted together good and taped twice. no metal touching the wires or wire to wire touching. i think i got it good. but thank you all for the heads up. whenever i get around to fixing the hole ill do something better with the wires. for now im just happy my radio and my seat belts work fine again and i am not popping fuses anymore.
