new headunit

hey guys, just bought a alpine cde-100, but can't find a dash mount kit at walmart, anyone know where i can pick one up? or if i even need one?

just about any auto parts store should have them
some units you don't need them with some you do

i'll have to take that one back to walmart tomorow and check partsource then i guess. i can't remember if the deck that came with the car had a dash kit now that i think of it.

the last deck i had in there deffinitly didn't, but it was a crap deck so i didn't even fully install it. i could totally pull it right out at any given time hahaha.

If you have the sleeve, you don't need a dash kit.

I have an Alpine headunit too. You can get the sleeve tabs to hold on fairly well.
