  • Anyone know of a good mp3 player with screen?

Basically I'm looking for an mp3 player with (preferably) a pop out screen that will give me the ability to basically browse through folders with mp3's on them. Kinda getting tired of trying to remember what song are where and what number.... I see plenty of receivers with screens on them but I know a lot of them are simply for DVD playback. I have a DVD player in my car that I can browse folders on, but I would like to get it all into one unit(receiver) with a pop out screen if possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

eclipse has a fixed screen double din with navigation mp3 and built in hdd. gets rid of the need to constantlyu load data discs. i think it was a 30gb internal hdd, 10 gb for navigation and 20 for mp3's. looks pretty slick to me. but io know it isn't the pop out screen like ya want. also pretty pricey at like 2k on crutchfield. for that i'd say screw it and get a used mcintosh with dual 20bit burr-browns and make a small carputer with a lilliput monitor.

Yeah I got plenty of computer parts laying around. I am actually read to just put a computer in the car. Plus all I would need is a little screen. I got everything else that would be needed laying around the house. Would just prefer a pop out version. Lot less to mess with and way less wiring/hassle.

I use a kenwood KDC-MP255. It's sleeve fits right in just bend a few tabs out to hold it in place. only thing I don't like about it is the flimsy tools used to remove the unit from it's sleeve.
