    I know most of the members would have seen this question asked a million time and for this i apologise have had a look and cannot find it

    So can anyone please help i have just purchased a 1993 festiva and i have been trying to install a new head unit but even with a muliti meter i can sus out the colour codes for the wires.
    if anyone can help it would very much appreciated.

          That connector looks like it comes from the radio side, not the Festiva wiring side. Is this correct?

          Typically, in radios I have installed, there is an Always Hot (red), a Hot When in ACC or RUN (yellow), and a GROUND (black). Those three are on one side of the 12-pin connector, and all the rest of the wires go to the speakers. Some radios have two separate connectors, one for speakers and one for the power and power-ground functions.
