  • How big?

I was looking for speakers today when I realized, the area you put the speakers in the festiva, is tiny! what size speakers are they? anyone know? I don't wanna do any modding & or have someone put them in for me. Just wondering what size will fit in front and back haha, thanks!

Factory locations are 4". You can use 5 or 6.5 in the doors. I have 6.5 Kickers in the doors.

Thought I would just bump rather then making a new topic, but about to buy some speakers online probably 4x 4inch kickers, but just wondering how good is the built in stereo? besides being more aesthetically pleasing is it worth it to buy an aftermarket deck/stero? thanks for any info!

Can't comment on the factory stereo since mine never had one. I have a Pioneer DEH3200 in mine. I love it. It also works with USB drives and my Iphone.

mid grade Pioneer units are the best bang for the buck at this point, BUT if you just want to listen to the radio, the factroy unit is actually very good for that IF paired with better than average speakers (like the Infinity Kappa or Referance series)

Do yourself a favor and replace the stock head unit and speakers. They are junk. You can get a decent head unit and speakers for under $200.

If you scour craigslist for a head unit and shop hard for speakers online, you could come out under $100 easy.
