I purchased a Technics CQ-R9550 receiver with a 10 disc changer back in '89. I paid $1300 back then for the pair. This was before the cheap Chinese days. As far as I know, it was the first touchscreen car audio receiver. I installed it in my Mustang and 1 month later, I blew the engine. I took out the radio and put it back in it's box. The Mustang sat in storage for many years. Years later I installed the radio there is some lights on but I never got it to work. It's got a tape player, I haven't owned any cassette tapes in many years. Do you think it is worth it to get it repaired since it's such a rare piece? Or should I chuck it. The disc changer was never installed and still in it's original box.

Dude, thats one of the coolest things I've ever seen! Get it fixed! Or, at the very least don't toss it! Heck, I'd make the drive up to Fayetteville and rummage through your garbage to save it if I found out you tossed it! LolNo festiva for me ATM...
