Opinions requested re: Blaupunkt

Hello all,

I recently picked up a complete Blaupunkt Cleveland DJ cassette/tuner with CD changer in a deal that was too good to pass up. I believe it is from the late 90's so won't play most current digital formats.

So here's my question... should I keep the Blaupunkt unit and install it in the Festiva and pick up some kind of MP3/USB adapter? The Pioneer head unit I'm currently running seems to be starting to fail so I would probably be replacing it in a year or so anyway.

The other option is to put the Blaupunkt package up for sale here if anyone's interested or E-bay.

I'd appreciate your comments and suggestions.

It was good back in the day , now blaupunkt is just walmart junk.

But for about 150$ you could get a new/used (ebay) unit with the MP3/USB plug already there.

Depends on your budget.

Actually Blaupunkt was bought out/sold a couple of years ago. I have one in my truck that I bought 8-10 years ago and it still works great. (Non mp3 though). Wasn't even sure that they were still being produced now.
