SSL & BOSS
Is Soundstorm & BOSS the same company? The products look strangely alike. Any difference in quality? And how is the quality of thier products? I found 8" & 10" powered subs from both, BOSS were cheaped price.

I believe Boss owns Soundstorm... I've heard (never used) that they are junk.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i have several boss products, the amps are fine, the headunits i havn't used in a long time, but the ones i have experiance in are poor quality. the subs (powered or otherwise) are great for the price. other speakers though should be used for landfill.Trees aren't kind to me...
currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

Thanks, Festy & Charlie. I know some people on here have used the soundstorm uss8 low profile powered subs. I think i'll get the 10" . The new ones are model LP8 &10.If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer!

take advantage of the sub (infra) sonic filter and set it at 30(ish) Hz.Trees aren't kind to me...
