  • Magnetic Field Shielding

my design for my new system will incorporate a 15" lcd monitor surrounded by subwoofers.. I found this place for ferromagnetic materials. Anyone have experience in magnetic shielding?

I do. The stuff on that page looks good. We use mumetal shields in the lab I work in. The only thing is that you're not supposed to kink, heat up, or shock the metal in any way. That will destroy it's properties in the area where the damage was done.

^^^but since it's a LCD it isn't affected by the magnetic field..

Mumetal works well.. it's the only metal that actually blocks magnetic fields.

Can't crimp or crack it though.. Wrapping the subs magnets might help a little. but LCD's aren't affected by static magnets.
