got the console done so moved on to make panels for installing the 6x9s got them installed but forgot to allow for the hatch piston on the right side. that won't take 20 minutes to fix.
I'll do the rear trunk panel tomorrow. AK pistol grip shifter done - waiting on gorilla glue to dry. I tapped it out one size too small for the nuts that fit the shifter and tapped them in while it was in the vice and used the g glue to seat them in there good.
I enjoy working with wood to create things that don't look like "off the shelf"
if the car had a tan interior I'd redo the door panels in a nice stained veneer for that woody look. hmmm.....there may be a woody festy in the works here. woodstiva is born.
