lol, the biggest one you can get......

I think the 80 amp FS engine alternators work on b series motors, but you need the top bracket for them and the bolts.

Your gonna need a bigger battery, a capacitor, and hopefully an 80 amp alternator will keep up, I don't know about 4000w....

250-290 amp with some extra batteries, and some kicker 0 gauge (4704 strands) should if you want to do it right

What fuses are in your amp?

      Let's see that ported box!

I am working on a mount kit for a friend of mine with a Capri, he's running a competition stereo as well. It will mount a 200A Ford 3G alternator to the front of the block in place of the power steering, using the 4-rib belt. If you're interested I can produce another couple kits.

He's going to run the stock 70A alt plus the 200, we still have room where the AC compressor was to run another 200, and eventually we'll convert the inner belt to 4-rib and run a larger alt there as well. You can get up to 300 or 350A in the same frame size too, the 200's are just way more affordable

I wonder what RPM it would have to hold to keep up

It's designed so you can still use the AC. If you have PS you'd have to give that up but the Festy didnt normally come with it
