Goin to use a tablet as my radio in my festiva. Since I don't have a/c or oem radio, I removed all the controls and vents that were in my dashboard and I'm goin to fiberglass a mold into the pocket where all that was and then fiberglass the whole dashboard. But here are a few pics of where I'm at right now....

Fiberglass tablet in for radio
Yes mightycarmods on YouTube did this, it caught my interest as well since I have a galaxy 10.1 tablet lol

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Yea, i got the idea about using the magnets from the video where they installed the Ipad mini in the VW. Since the Festiva i am putting this in has no roof, i figured this would be the easiest way to go to be able to remove the tablet when i leave the car. Don't need it growing legs when i leave the car unattended, lol. Once i get this finished i'm goin to fiberglass the piece into the dash board and then i am goin to fiberglass the whole dashboard.

Thats what I thought too. But the other guys did it so when I went to Radio Shack and found those big ass magnets, I stuck the mon the back of the tablet and played with it for like 20 minutes. No issues. Didn't run slow or anything, didn't discolor the screen. So i said screw it, I'll take em. Now keep in mind, the table I am using is a cheapo from China. The brand name is Pipo and it was only $100. No way was I trying this on a $300 tablet. And good thing cause I cracked the screen tryin to get it out. But i'm still gonna use that tablet till it craps out.
