  • 150watt 10" sub Bangz hard

    Just inatalled sub yesterday
I craigslisted a sub yesterday, found a 10" kicker and a mtx 150watt amp for 30$ bucks. I already had the box, hooked it up last night and it sounds great, even turned it down it was hitting so hard. If you are wondering what to install, can not go wrong, our cars are so little it does not take much. Great sound and just enough mirror vibration to let you see the music. My trunk is now dedicated to speaker boxes. One downfall

That's for sure. I have a 10" xplode in a sealed box powered by a 500 watt Kenwood amp in my 89 L. The gain on the amp is on 2 and bass set to zero on the head unit (Kenwood) and it still thumps a little too hard at times.

Looking at a Boss amp for cheap and already have a JBL GTO804 and sealed box I bought years ago now. My projects always end up getting dragged out for one or another reason.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.
