Does anyone have a tv dvdplayer in there festivas??
im getting one for free from my mothers caravan when she gets a new car lol the only thing wrong with it is the plastic around the tv is cheap so i was thinking of taking all the plastic off and puting it right in front of the shifter in that concil and hook the portible dvd player where the ashtray goes (i would have to cut it) since im not a smoker and i dont want much smokers in my car... just ssome thoughts before i get the stuff... does anyone have anybetter idears where i could put thease??? Also where to put the PS2?

one more Qu... the sound is played through the radio by a little antenna thing is there a way to just hook the dvd players sound to the aux part of my cdplayer? im not that great at wireing stuff...

If you can make them fit, I would just wire the audio into the aux. That would be the quickest way. I have a DVD/TV in my car, but it's an indash unit and I have it wired to a 4 in 4 out AV switcher. That way I can have 4 different AV sources on 4 different screens or any combo I want. Mine includes rear PC, camera, ps 2, DVD/TV.

sweet... I'm thinking about getting into some fiberglass work soon, I'm considering doing a custom flat dash a la 32 ford. haven't made up my mind yet though...i dunno if i really wanna start jacking around with the heater core and vent system, but hey i could always rip it all out and install a vintage air unit...(yippee dash heat!)

I put a 7" wide screen on the dash, I cut the to vent holes out in the center of the dash and put it right there, I did basically the same thing as dj with the av switcher, I didnt want to by a new deck with inputs on it so I just used the deck I bought about a year ago. I ran rcas out of the deck to ch1 on the av switch, then ran rcas out to the 3 amps(tons of splitters) then ran the xbox into ch2 on the switcher. lol then I went to go test it and switched it to the xbox and it just about made me def, didnt even think of how to adjust the volume from the xbox considering all my speakers were ran off the amps. So I ended up putting a pontentiometer in the line that ran from the xbox to the av switcher, worked perfectly. I was running that huge 3000w amp so I had problems with frying my fusible link. Never did fix that problem, I ended up selling the subs and amp to pay towards getting my liscence back.

I have two 7" screens but they are not permanently fixed.....i just stuff em under the seats when not in use. I want to figure our a way to mount one to the center of the dash. Like make a wedge shape box or somthin. i dunno. lol

Wow, that's amazingly cool how it pops out of the dash. It's on a motor so it pops up on the push of a button???
