  • could subs freeze if left out in the cold?

im puting my festiva on the side of the house today so my mom and dad could put their cars in the garage and i wont be using the festiva till spring, so i was wondering if my sound system could "freeze" if i leave it at sub zero ny state temps for 2-4 months. thanks.

I doubt you'll hurt the subs as long as they are not "on". But remember cars sitting in the grass, dirt or gravel can rot out from underneth from the moisture.

i've seen subs that had frost on them, after they were given time to thaw they worked fine

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?
