Does K&N make a filter that works for an 88 thats carbed.  I checked the website, but it said no matches.  I figured there would be something close out there that would work.

You'd probably have to search the catalog using the specs for your old filter. Sometimes it's the only way. EG: needed lowering springs for a Chevy Tracker, no one made them at the time. Looked through the books looking for raw numbers and found that a mildly chopped Mustang spring would do the trick.
