Auto To Manual

Ok so i bought a 5 spd already for the car, got pretty much all I need ... I think, now will the auto tranny's starter work on the manual?

Im pretty sure i used my old auto starter when i did my 5-speed swap...

No auto tranny and manual are different. This is due to the way the mount and the direction they spin.

horseplay is right .i have two automatics and they mount different.

Does anyone have a link to a good break down of the auto to manual swap? I have a 88 festy w/4speed and want to put that trans in my new (and much better looking) 90 L Plus. Any help to expedite this project would be very much appreciated.
