Will a Miata head bolt onto a 1.3 block?

    you would have to change the pistons to get the head to work. These would have to be custom pistons or festiva GTX pistons. If you want a twin cam B3 get a GTX motor. It would probably be cheaper and better in the long run. But if you want a turbo car that has a displacement smaller than 1.4, i agree that the Suzuki 1.3 is the best option. It was built to be turbo and they are descent motors from what I have read.

      Yeah, that Elan was sweet. And I have a line on a turbo suzuki drivetrain, I was just hoping I could stick with the Mazda stuff. Maybe I could destroke the 1.6 somehow.

      The car should weigh 1340 lbs which is the class minimum. (for my car) My HP goal is 200 at the rear wheels. Likely Do-able with high strung boosted 1.3 on race gas, but probably not with the restrictive 1.3 head.
