MX3 Shifter

Does anyone know if A) the MX3 shifter will work okay in a Festy, and if B) the throw is any different?

I picked one up yesterday for about $5, and I want to throw it in my car, seeing as I have to fix the shifter linkage anyhow.

Came across your post and was wondering if the MX3 shifter worked out alright! Anybody else know if this shifter is just a bolt in deal?
