I am the (new) proud owner of a 93 festiva project car. It has been completely stripped and is in pretty good condition. Just wondering what engine swaps are pretty straightforward, as I'm looking to have a little bit of fun with it and HP helps. If there aren't any swaps that you would recommend, what power adders would you recommend? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. And yes, I can do any work myself.

A 1.6 sohc b6 from a 323 is a direct bolt in and gets you around 80 hp. A dohc 1.6 from a b6d from a Capri is a really easy swap with minimal fabrication needed and gets you 100 hp. Swapping in a turbo dohc 1.6 and trans from a Capri XR2 is possible but its a lot more in depth and more fabrication is needed.
