Alright guys I'm currently building a b6t for my festiva. I pulled it out of a good running xr2 capri but wanted to go through it before dumping it in. The block is clean as hell had it honed anyways cause my boss owns a machine shop. It's all within factory spec. Been looking at the premium sealed power piston rings and just wanted to make sure this was a good option. I would very much like to only build the engine once so any experience shared is appreciated. It will be a pretty stock b6t build with addition of head studs and a ported intake. I may upgrade more in the future but right now looking to get it on the road.

It it wasn't overheated and the factory ring gaps haven't opened up excessively, you're best off to reuse the original rings. Or new OEM rings are available, just expensive.'88 L- B6d-Sidedraft Dellorto Carbs-G-Series-Advanced Suspension
