Miata transmission

Just had a brain itch the other night. Will the Miata transmission mate to 1.3L B3 engine? This has probably been asked 100s of times before. Be patient with me. I'm old. :-) Thanks.

do not know but while waiting for a reply you might try searching the Internet on "Miata Festiva transmission compatibility" which I did and got some hits. I tried searching this site on "Miata transmission" but got hits for "Miata" or "transmission" so a lot of unrelated hits. Don't know how to say "Miata" and "transmission" in a search on this site. If you do you might also want to search on "Miata" and "tranny" as "tranny" is often used here for "transmission". People are so cool and hip here.

Yes, the miata trans will bolt directly to a b3, both have the same bellhousing pattern. Use the miata flywheel and clutch.
