Transmission Swaps...

Sorry for double posts... this topic's totally seperate though so maybe it's not so bad..

Is there any transmission that will bolt to the B3 to possibly make a 7 speed tranny?? As in 1-6 and Reverse?

Or is there a transmission that will possibly make the car a slight bit faster?? Like one that has the gear ratios a bit different to speed it up some?

No 6 speed. The aspire has the same trans as the festiva but with better gears for acceleration. You will notice a difference.

Secondly, read the sticky at the top of this forum that talks about transmissions swaps. It will answer your second question. Since you don't list if you have an aspire or a festiva, it is hard to answer the question. You ask about faster; are you referring to top speed or acceleration?

ops: :shock: how did i miss that thread.... okay thanks. umm I've got a 94 Aspire. Had it in the other thread so I didn't think to put it in here. I wanted either one. Top speed OR acceleration. Just, faster in general.
