can anyone tell me if a 1988 carb.tracer head
can be used on a 1989 F.I. engine.
also will the gauge cluster fit in a festiva.
    thanks

Carby 88' Tracer? I have never seen a carby 88 on Tracer, only I have seen it is EFI system on B6 engine.

Where you find that one? If 88' tracer was B6 engine and try put the head on the festiva 1989 B3 engine probably not good idea, it gives you low compression rate.

The cluster from Tracer will not direct fit our festiva but it can be done with modifty.

Canada had carbed Tracers in '88, and I think '89.

Physically the head will fit, but GTX is correct about the loss of compression. The bowl in the B6 head is a bit larger than the B3, and the valves are larger, so there may also be interference between the valves and the side of the cylinder wall.
