if you run a B6 with the B3 ECU it will idle at about 3k rpm, trust me i've tried it

2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I ran my '93GL auto on the B3 ECU for a few months after my B6 swap and it did okay. Mileage and power are not optimized. After I put in the B6 ECU I could tell a difference, but for the auto it was not exactly "night and day." More like "noon and evening." But it was noticeable.
