I had a thought last night... what would happen if you put a small eletric fan on the end of the air intake pipe, that continuly pushing air into the motor??

It isn't powerful enough to do any good and since it's in the airflow it restricts air and does harm.

Considering it doesn't spin fast enough to force air into it anyways I'm sure it creates a lot of problems.

The one I'd like to see is the air forcing the fan to spin faster than it can and then exploding into a thousand pieces and blowing up some kid's civic!

        That would be funny!

for it to make a power gain it would have to push enough air to be more than what your head can flow by itself. Meaning that it would need to push well over 100cfm and have blades and a shrough tight enough that the air couldn't escape back out through the fan. Basically, i'm giving you an overly technical way of saying that it just won't work. The only electric supercharger on the market right now is the Thomas Knight ESC, which requires a large bank of batteries and can only be used for short bursts like nitrous. After you figure in the cost of that SC and the other parts needed to make it work, you could have bought a brand new BP and swapped it in, and be faster than the ESC'd B3 all the time.
