Converting from manual trans to automatic

I have tried to search and I have seen some people have converted from manual to automatic tranny's. Exactly what parts are needed from the Automatic car? shift linkage, tranny, starter? I have only seen 1 auto festy around here and am able to get the parts off it. I just need to know what to grab before I got down there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

why in the world would you even want to do that????????????

have you driven an automatic? they are slow, get the worst gas mileage, and are the most expensive to repair!

i have 2, one is my back-up , and the other is a parts car.

I've heard that they will hold more power for my B6T. and I have a few avail to me.

of course they can hold it and NOT give it back to you!

automatics will rob you of the horsepower you want so badly with the B6T.
