race car parts

G,day all
I,m about to start to build a 600cc bike powered open wheeler race car ,and was wondering if you think the diff , drive shafts and cv joints from a festy would be strong enough? The car should weight about 275kg and would use 10 inch slicks on the rear

torque is what breaks most of the parts on a festiva (with larger engine swaps) so id have to say running them with an engine that makes most of its power in the upper rpms you shouldnt have any problems.

besides, the thing that breaks the diffs is usually a straight out shock between the weight of the car vrs trying to put the power to the ground. with an even lighter chassis i cant imagine you wouldnt just spin before you hit that breaking point.

the drive shafts and cv's shouldnt be a problem. but if you want to make sure and have the ability to beat the snot out of it, you could always use a protege, escort, or capri transmission (if the capri came in australia?) and axles ect.
